SKIN produced by Tashan
Title: Skin
Tagline: Which is your favourite part of your body?
Sub Genre: Crime & psychological
Shot types: Long shot, close ups, Point of view shots
Sound : At the beginning of the opening scene there will tense music, high and low pitch throughout. Sounds of children playing will cover the opening credit. The use of sounds we will be using will allow us to be able to create the disired atmosphere, tension and suspense.
Lighting: Very dark lighting to play with theatre of the mind, what you can't see makes you think. Dull lighting dark backgrounds and dark atmosphere.
Audience: this crime thriller is aimed for 15 to 45, this is due to the different age groups that sre involved in these film.
This is a Crime thriller that has allot of enigmas in it, mostly about solving murder crimes trying to find the villian.
It is another day at work for PC Johnson he has been given a call to a murder scene at a abandoned house, and it there is a basement. Within it there is a young murdered victim with half his face's skin missing. The smell of rotting guts and discreet filled the room, who could have done this? and why?
There is an antagonist which has planned to kidnap a young male victim, for what reason we don't know, but what we do know is that there is motive due to him saying “you remember me” when he attacks the boy. The victim doesn't see the antagonist face, while being attacked due to the mask the antagonist was wearing. Victim is knocked out and dragged on the ground to a mysterious location.
Then we suddenly jump ahead to the antagonist cleaning a knife at a dirty sink with a cloth( a human skull is by the sink, could be one of the antagonist's victims) .There is heavy breathing and a sound of a heart beat, this increases gradually as he gets closer to a huge dirty sheet which is covering the victim.
Suddenly the antagonist with his knife in right hand, pulls a sheet of with his left hand. Then we see that same male boy who he had captured punched and bruised, tied up in a chair, feet and hands (there are little weeps and cries which seep through the gag in his mouth). The antagonist then hold the knife up to the victims face an does a sympathetic “shhhhhhh”.
